It needs to change the image first of all, since we know it more for small cars and crossovers. Many of them have weird names, and spew toxic diesel fumes. Still, the company managed to create a new model that is capable to ruin all the negative impression we've got on the brand. Here comes the 2018 Volkswagen SUV with a strong V6, and all wheel-drive. The company has big expectations on this one.

The SUV's name is still a secret for us, but it appears to look pretty good and well-done. After a half hour driving it, we must admit it that this three-rower has the confidence and the demeanor of its future rivals, like Honda Pilot, Chevy Traverse, Toyota Highlander and Ford Explorer. The eight-speed automatic transmission and the 4 Motion all-wheel drive do their best for its driver, so you won't get disappointed. The 3.6 liter unit has 280 horsepower and 258lb-ft of torque which make it really capable. The car has several driving modes, which are operated via a circular knob in the center console. The cabin offered an upright view of the road, exactly as we like. The infotainment system comes with a crisp LCD touchscreen and looked slick. The second and third rows are comfortable and spacious, just great for long distances.
