Ford finally admitted that car sales have reached a peak!: Automakers have finally revealed their sales for this August, and we've heard that the so called “Big Three”have revealed sales which are below analysts' expectations. The only company which posted positive sales through august was Fiat Chrysler, while Ford and GM posted declines.
Ford said is doesn't see the pent-up demand anymore, which means that is a peak for US new auto sales. Ford called it a top for US new car industry, while these words were already told by specialists, it's been the first time a carmaker has told that. Executives said that for the rest of the year it would be “really tough” to match the sales performance of the same period in 2015. Overall sales rose at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 16.98 million.
