Nissan is going to sell a limited number of Murano Hybrids in the US

Probably all of us have already heard about the Nissan's Leaf electric vehicle. The Japanese automaker is currently introducing a hybrid version of the Murano. Taking into account that the number of produced cars is expected to be small, the Murano Hybrid model could become a collector's item.



The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) certified that the hybrid crossover gets a combined 29 miles per gallon for the front-wheel drive version and 28 mpg for the all-wheel-drive version. The conventional Murano gets 24 mpg in both FWD and AWD. In fact, Nissan does not have terribly high hopes for the demand for the new Murano Hybrid model.
