The recall covers 33, 131 Impreza sedans and hatchbacks in the U.S. built between Sept. 13, 2016, and March 15, 2017, according to documents posted on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s recall database. The company also issued a stop-sale order for new, unsold Imprezas that are affected by the recall. When using a winter fuel blend required in some North America regions, which vaporizes at a lower temperature, the fuel may begin to vaporize in the fuel line under high ambient temperature, low speed or stopped driving conditions, the documents said.
